Winter Concert and Photoshop

In October, I adjudicated my work-in-progress, Unrest, and it was selected to present at OSU’s upcoming Winter Concert. As the piece continues to unfold between myself and Kathryn Sauma, we keep finding haunting imagery, theatrical discoveries, and of course, the usual challenges with navigating fabric inside of choreography. As a way to develop our Photoshop skills, the 1st year grad students were asked to create a postcard, showcasing our developing skills in Photoshop, by promoting something we are creating. I used this as an opportunity to visually play with the themes and content of Unrest.

I plan to update the postcard with various details of the performances to use as a promotional material in the weeks leading up to the concert. Please plan to attend the Winter Concert! It will surely be a spectacular night of dance, filled with witty, playful, and explorative pieces of choreography created by OSU Department of Dance undergraduate and graduate students!
